A $45 ticket will get Lakewood Ranch residents a morning mat Pilates class on the Sarasota Paradise soccer field and admission to the club’s game that evening on Saturday, Sept. 5, at Premier Sports Campus.

The event, called “Pilates on the Pitch,” runs from 9 to 11 a.m. at 5895 Post Blvd. JETSET Pilates Lakewood Ranch is leading the workout. The Sarasota Paradise match against Spokane Velocity FC begins at 7:30 p.m.

Registration is open.

Sarasota Paradise announced the event on X on Aug. 21, with registration available through Eventbrite. The Eventbrite listing advertises free admission and a $45 Pilates-and-club-game ticket.

Premier Sports Campus programming reaches beyond traditional competition. The county-affiliated venue hosts Sarasota Paradise’s USL League One games, pools and pickleball courts.

Manatee County commissioners earlier approved business terms for an $80 million indoor sports and ice complex at Premier Sports Campus North. But commissioners voted Aug. 5 to pause discussions on the project, so an early-2027 groundbreaking is no longer certain.

“We have done a whole lot of expansion and improvement at Premier Sports Campus since the county took it on,” Manatee County Commissioner Amanda Ballard said when commissioners considered the ice complex. “It started out with the soccer fields, which have been immensely successful, then we moved on to our pools and pickleball courts.”

JETSET Pilates is a Miami-based Reformer Pilates franchise. The company reported more than 270 studios open or in development across the United States and Australia in January.

Sarasota Paradise, founded by Marcus Walfridson, began its first professional USL League One season in 2026. The club drew 2,791 fans to its March 7 home opener, the largest crowd in its history, at the more than 3,000-seat Premier Sports Campus stadium. As we reported Aug. 20, the club also launched its inaugural youth academy at Premier Sports Campus.

Registration is open for the Sept. 5 event at 5895 Post Blvd., Lakewood Ranch.

The main corrections are timing and project status: the Pilates class is in the morning, but the Sarasota Paradise game begins at 7:30 p.m.; the proposed ice complex is now paused, not on a confirmed early-2027 groundbreaking track.
