Homeschooling families across the Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton area can meet more than 25 co-ops, microschools and enrichment programs under one roof when Find Your Village holds a free community fair Aug. 29, from 10 a.m. to noon at Bethel Church in Bradenton.

The event will feature vendors representing homeschool organizations and educational services, along with children's activities, raffle prizes and two food trucks, according to Pulse of Manatee.

From a Venice debut to a bigger Bradenton event

Organizer Cheyanne Cleyman, a homeschool mom and co-founder of the AI-powered learning platform AskKoa, launched the fair series in Venice on July 25 at Lift Church. That inaugural event drew more than 100 families and 13 co-ops, according to Cleyman. Now she's scaling up for Bradenton.

The fair is timed to the start of the 2026-27 school year, giving parents a single morning to browse vendors including group learning co-ops, microschools and activity-based enrichment programs. Cleyman named Lakewood Ranch families as part of the target audience when she announced the series in her Venice event post.

How AskKoa connects to the in-person fair

AskKoa, which Cleyman co-founded in 2025, builds AI-powered tools that turn everyday moments into personalized learning activities for homeschool families. The platform pairs with the fair's in-person approach, connecting parents who may otherwise plan curriculum in isolation.
