Lakewood Ranch families looking to skip the kitchen on Thanksgiving have at least three local restaurants ready to serve them on Thursday, Nov. 26.

Allswell at Waterside Place, GROVE on Boardwalk Loop and Libby's Neighborhood Brasserie on Lorraine Road are all offering dine-in or takeout options for the holiday, according to the restaurants' own websites and a roundup first reported by Sarasota Magazine.

Allswell at Waterside Place

Allswell, at 7500 Island Cove Terrace, Unit 102, will serve only its Thanksgiving menus on Nov. 26. The regular menu will not be available that day, according to the restaurant's Thanksgiving page.

The adult meal is a three-course prix fixe at $44.95. Diners choose a first course of squash bisque or harvest salad, then oven-roasted turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, roasted sweet potatoes, pan gravy, corn bread and cranberry sauce. Dessert is whiskey apple crumb cake or pecan pie. À la carte entrées such as the Signature Allswell Burger ($24.94) and pan-seared pork tenderloin ($29.95) are also listed.

Kids eat for $22.95 on a two-course prix fixe. Sarasota Magazine reports service begins at noon. Reservations are available through Resy.

GROVE

GROVE, at 10670 Boardwalk Loop, is running three Thanksgiving formats, according to its holiday page.

A plated dinner on the restaurant side costs $48 plus tax for adults and $25 plus tax for children under 10. The meal includes roasted turkey, house-made stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potato casserole, broccoli casserole, green beans, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls and pumpkin pie. The restaurant says its holiday dinner menu will also be available. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

A grand buffet on the ballroom side adds prime rib, peel-and-eat shrimp, mussels and assorted mini desserts. Buffet pricing is $70 plus tax and service fee for adults and $28 plus tax and service fee for children under 10. Beverages are not included.

For families who want to eat at home, GROVE offers a to-go Family Feast serving four to six people at $175 plus tax, or an individual meal at $48 plus tax. Sarasota Magazine reports takeout orders must be placed by Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Libby's Neighborhood Brasserie

Libby's, at 8445 Lorraine Road, is offering a Thanksgiving turkey dinner and takeout pre-orders at its Lakewood Ranch location, according to Sarasota Magazine. Dine-in service runs 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., the magazine reports.

Takeout plates are $30 per person, according to the restaurant's pre-order page. All pre-orders must be placed by Nov. 25 for Thanksgiving Day pickup.
